Basildon Council Publications

Before The Friends group had been set up and started publishing its own series of Newsletters, as above, the Countryside Services team of the Council published a series of 8 Newsletters entitled The Wick Country Park News. The first of these Newsletters was published in 2000, and set out the original aspirations for the Park from the Council's perspective. The last few of these documents over-lapped with The Skylarks, with number 8 appearing in 2005. By then the main Development of the Park was complete.
