WILDLIFE PICNIC BY THE LAKE
This event is run in conjuction with the Wickford Wildlife Society.

Description: Sit by the lake and see what birds and wildlife there is about whilst enjoying a bring-your-own picnic. Accompanied children welcome. Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome.Date: Saturday June 24th 2024
Venue: The Wick Country Park- meet by the Lake.
Time: 2pm to approx 5pm.
Cost: FREE!!!! [Please remember to bring-your-own picnic!!!]

Parking: If you travel by car, please park tidily within the marked bays that are accessible via the drive-way off the roundabout in Tresco Way. If you are able to do so, we encourage visitors to walk or cycle to the WCP; cycle racks are provided by the 'Staff carpark'.
Toilets: There will be no access to the toilets because the Council has leased the Pavilion to a Day Nursery

The picnic will start around 2pm and will finish around 5pm or when we have had enough! The plan is that we sit near the lake and for a few hours try to see / hear the wildlife around us. All you need to bring is:Report on the 2023 event
