BAT WATCH AND WILDLIFE WALK
This event is run in conjuction with the Essex Bat Group and the Wickford Wildlife Society.
Key Details
Description: Led by a representative from the Essex Bat Group, a stroll around the Park after dusk looking out and listening for bats. Usually there are examples of live (rescued) bats to see prior to the walk. Bat detectors are provided; they are able to distinguish the calls of different species of bats.Date: Saturday August 6th 2022
Venue: The Wick Country Park- meet by the gates at the Tresco Way roundabout.
Time: 9 pm to approx 10.30 pm.
Cost: FREE!!!!

Parking: The main gates to the Park will be locked, so if you travel by car, please park in Tresco Way, taking care not to block or obstruct residents' driveways. For those cycling to the event, there will be access to the Park's Cycle Racks.
Toilets: There will be no access to the toilets because the Council has leased the Pavilion to a Day Nursery
BOOKING: Due to limitations on the numbers attending, prior booking is essential.
